  1. You can read pdf files with adobe acrobat reader.
And to make pdf files its a program called MagicPDF

  3. There are three different formats with the same extension:

1: Database format used by several applications, including Pegasus, Quicken, MS Visual Studio, and Palm Pilot software

2: Standard data format used by several different programs on Palm-based PDA devices; may store various types of data, such as word processing documents, spreadsheets, databases, maps, and image files.
To determine what program created a PDB file, open the file in a text editor; the Type and Creator codes should be located in the header of the file near the top of the document.

3: Backup of a PowerDesigner database (.PDM) file; includes data saved in the database as well as references to other files; created as a backup in case the main database file needs to be restored.

The link at the bottom should have enough info for you.

  4. The .PDB extension stands for "program database." It holds the new format for storing debugging information that was introduced in Visual C++ version 1.0. In the future, the .PDB file will also hold other project state information. One of the most important motivations for the change in format was to allow incremental linking of debug versions of programs, a change first introduced in Visual C++ version 2.0.

The .DBG extension stands for "debug." The .DBG files created with the 32-bit NT toolset are in the Portable Executable (PE) file format. They contain sections with COFF, FPO, and in some cases Codeview information. The Visual C++ integrated debugger can read .DBG files in this format, however it ignores the COFF symbol sections and looks for Codeview information.

  5. ABC Amber Palm Converter is an utility which converts your PDB and PRC (Palm) files to any format you wish (PDF, HTML, CHM, RTF, HLP, DOC, and many more) easily and quickly.

The software supports a batch conversion, a run from command line, more than 50 languages. Batch conversion ability allows you to convert a unlimited number of PDB (PRC) files at a time.

As all ABC Amber products, it’s really easy as ABC and powerful as Amber.

ABC Amber Palm Converter is freeware. This means that the program can be freely used at no charge.

For some odd reason, I missed the part about that you had this program already, and I have never had any reason to use this program, so cannot give you a quick tutorial about it, but you may try to google ‘ABC Amber palm converter tutorial’ and see what links it gives you… Good Luck!
